Exploring Sacred Scripture in the Light of Christ, the Second Adam
The goal of this blog is to foster thoughtful theological reflection and meaningful discussion on the unity and depth of Sacred Scripture, revealing how the Old and New Testaments converge in the mystery of Christ. Scripture is not merely a record of divine acts in history; it is the living revelation of God, continually inviting study, contemplation, and transformation.
Through close reading of biblical texts, theological inquiry, and engagement with the living tradition of the Church—especially the wisdom of the Fathers, the richness of liturgical tradition, and the depth of Syriac spirituality—this blog seeks to explore the great themes of divine revelation: creation and fall, covenant and redemption, glory and suffering, sanctification and truth, death and resurrection.
Why does Christ pray, “Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son” (The Gospel of John)? If the Son possesses eternal glory with the Father, what does this glorification mean within salvation history? Could it be understood as the restoration of the glory humanity lost in Eden (Book of Genesis)? Does Christ stand here as the Second Adam, restoring through obedience what the first Adam lost through disobedience?
What does it mean when Christ prays, “Consecrate them in truth” (The Gospel of John)? What is this truth that sanctifies? How does divine truth heal, transform, and prepare humanity for communion with God?
These reflections are not merely academic. They touch the heart of Christian life—our prayer, worship, suffering, discipleship, and hope. Theology is not simply about understanding God; it is about encountering Him.
This blog does not seek merely to provide answers, but to cultivate deeper questions, faithful dialogue, and spiritual discovery. Every biblical text carries layers of meaning, and every theological question opens into greater mystery. Whether you are a scholar, a student of Scripture, or a seeker of truth, you are invited to journey into the riches of divine revelation and discover anew how Christ fulfills the Scriptures and restores humanity to the glory for which it was created.
